The 39th annual meeting of the Food Crisis Prevention Network (RPCA) will take place on 5-8 December 2023, in a hybrid format. Network members will have the opportunity to assess the agro-pastoral, food, and nutrition situation in the region, while also evaluating the response to the 2023 food crisis in a context marked by security and socio-political challenges. The central theme for this meeting will be addressed: “Transformations of Diets, Markets and Prices in the Sahel and West Africa: Implications for Agricultural and Food Security Policies.” Furthermore, various initiatives aimed at strengthening regional governance for food and nutrition security will be discussed.
