Statement by Abdoulaye Mohamadou, CILSS Executive Secretary, RPCA restricted meeting, 8-9 April 2021.

“Just as last year, the region needs better co-ordination in order to provide the necessary support to our States with the support of its technical and financial partners. The 2021-22 agro-pastoral campaign, which has already started in coastal countries, deserves our attention, given the COVID-19-related impacts and civil insecurity which has become recurrent and which has a negative impact on agricultural activities.”
