The meeting of the regional mechanism for the Prevention and Management of Food Crises (PREGEC) in the Sahel and West Africa was held on June 15 and 16, 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria. That was an opportunity to assess the start of the 2023-2024 agropastoral campaign.
