Following four consultations on the establishment of the Global Alliance for Resilience (AGIR) (18 June/Brussels, 23 July/Brussels, 10 September/Abidjan, 22 October/Ouagadougou), this meeting was the first gathering of the Alliance’s Senior Experts Group (SEG/AGIR). The meeting brought together some fifty stakeholders from the 7-8 November 2012 at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris. Participants discussed the outline of the regional roadmap and advanced preparations for the official launch of the Alliance on 6 December 2012 in Ouagadougou.
