Summary of conclusions, RPCA restricted meeting, 10-12 April 2017
Published : April 2017
The restricted meeting RPCA brought together some 150 food security stakeholders from the region and West African partners at the OECD headquarters in Paris. RPCA Members reviewed the final results of the 2016-17 agro-pastoral campaign, analysed the food and nutrition situation and made key recommendations. The meeting also served as a framework to assess the progress of implementing the Global Alliance for Resilience (AGIR), and to discuss the reforms needed to increase the Network’s impact on decision-making. Participants also discussed key findings from the mapping study, which identifies food & nutrition security and resilience interventions. This work will contribute to the political dialogue on strengthening synergies among resilience interventions for greater efficiency and impact.
