The Monitoring and Action Committee aims to engage networks of farmers, pastoralists and civil society alongside states and regional institutions in effective crisis management, including that born out of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will also promote the production of specific monitoring and information devices within the food Crisis Prevention Network (RPCA), and other national and regional consultation/consultation frameworks. In particular, the Monitoring and Action Committee will develop arguments/evidence to feed the Regional Task Force being set up by ECOWAS.
