Morbidity and malnutrition in Nigeria

From 1 June to 20 July 2020, the Government of Nigeria reported some 311 000 new child admissions across the 16 analysed states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The states of Jigawa (42%), Borno (23%) and Niger (16%) counted the highest levels of morbidity. The majority of health facilities in charge of treatment of children with acute malnutrition remained operational across northern Nigeria.
