Initiated in 2000 by the National Federation of Food Processing Industries of Burkina Faso (FIAB), the Agro-Food Days (JAAL) aim to encourage innovation in the processing of national products and to promote agro-food SMEs. The 11th edition of the JAAL will be held from 26 November to 4 December 2021 at the Maison du Peuple in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, under the theme “Agribusiness in Burkina Faso in a context of insecurity, climate change and Covid-19: How to develop sustainable and resilient food systems?” The JAAL offers participants several advantages, including the “Global Village” to enable people to learn about the process of transforming local raw materials through demonstration sessions.
