The technical consultation of the regional PREGEC mechanism will be held from 29 to 31 March 2023 in Bamako, Mali. It aims to assess the evolution of the food and nutrition situation in view of the rise in food prices and the resurgence of attacks by armed groups, which are characterised by numerous losses of human life and an increasing number of displaced persons towards the larger, more secure urban centres.
