Within the Global Alliance for Resilience (AGIR), Côte d’Ivoire launched on 17 March 2014 an inclusive dialogue process for the elaboration of its national resilience priorities (NRP-AGIR). This NRP-AGIR report from Côte d’Ivoire is the result of concerted efforts by public and private actors, civil society and multilateral and bilateral co-operation agencies. It aims to “help reduce the food and nutrition vulnerability of the population”. Over the next five years, it plans to develop tailored and integrated responses to five million vulnerable people (or 1 million households) in vulnerable areas. The Government and relevant stakeholders formally adopted Côte d’Ivoire’s NRP-AGIR document at a national validation workshop on 28 September 2015.
