Agriculture Sector Rehabilitation Project (ASRP)
The Agriculture Sector Rehabilitation Project (ASRP) seeks to contribute to food security and poverty reduction by enhancing food security and building community empowerment in highly deprived rural communities in four out of the fifteen Liberian counties: Grand Kru, Maryland, River Gee and Grand Gedeh. The project is undertaking series of activities along the rice value chain to engender increased rice production with yields amounting between 2.5 to 4 MT per hectare to enable beneficiaries have sufficient rice for consumption and improved income from sales of their harvests for improvement in their livelihoods.
